Assorted Quilt
Can you answer a new question: the construction of quilt squares?
I have four colors. A total of (20) 7 "wide strips x 42" long. Is it a question of color in bands together and then cut into squares? Or should I cut the squares in all 7 "squares and then classified as want.
Strip quilting is faster. If you sew the strips together and then cut into squares of the seats are more likely to go exactly 7 inches. If Cut each separate table that will have much more time (I know) my photos are not exactly what will make it harder to assemble. All have no problem if it's just my preference to sew the strips first. For me it is easier and better. PS Remember not iron the seams open before the installation, it makes everything go more smoothely. Good fun quilt;)
