Applique Quilt Patterns
HELP! I need some suggestions for a wedding quilt square !!!!!?
My nephew is getting married and I am one of a dozen people who are throwing in a quilt. They married in the castle of Thornewood. The theme was Celtic / Norse. She suggests things like knot or Celtic designs, drawings Mandala, Celtic crosses runes, heather, animals or crows? … I think I'm known as applets. Some will do the embroidery or cross stitch, but I do not do that. I could do something with gold thread, perhaps in knots designs or patterns, perhaps even paint. The date has already been claimed, thistle assisted the trinity knot, Thors hammer. Maybe I could make Heather ?…. The quilt of white linen, a Titch nothing like green tartan skirts (wearing a kilt!) And can be used as a small benefit or a distributor, and border and rear main variety is a beautiful amethyst9thistle) corduroy color. gold lace or setting will be used somewhere on the border or trim. I'm within 2 weeks. Please help !!!!!!!
It is an excellent website that at least 100 blocks free quilt. It www.quilterscache.com. Navigate to your pop-up menu and look for free blocks, then use the alpha list for Celtic. Can not find not exactly you can use, but it is likely to find inspiration.
