Quilting design coverage log?
Which model to use quilt in a log cabin quilt. I have the top manta Indeed, but have no idea how it's supposed to be stuffed. Certainly not want to quilt all the lines in it. Anyone have any ideas?
A quilt log cabin is very busy, so do not have to do really complicated quilting. You have two options – a standard ALLOVER which ignores the design or a model to meet the layout. If you go with ALLOVER, you could make a simple grid or base loops, or a variant of the loop, as loops, waves, flowers, etc. If you go with the trend, which depends on the layout you have selected – straight grooves, This raises a barn star, windlass, sun and shade. Try to highlight the differences in value – Light vs. darkness. A log cabin Round design is very square, to use the curved seam. You can make circles, or feathers, or make simple decorations on the light areas. See link below for a wide selection of quilting patterns.
